Luxe Pet Studio Policies

Appointments are 3-4 hours long, which can exceed that time without notice. Do not come pick up your dog until we text you that they are complete.

 

We reserve the right to refuse service at any point to any animal we deem cannot be groomed safely.

 

We allow 1 hour to pick up your dog after we sent a text that they are ready. Dogs left longer than that will be charged a $20 kennelling fee.

 

Dogs more than 15 minutes late may be turned away.

 

Dogs must be Vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, Parvo.

 

We do not de-matt dogs. This is a cruel, inhumane practice and we will not participate. Bring your dog in every 4-8 weeks if you want to avoid a short haircut.

 

We only use the safest, most humane methods to groom dogs in our facility. We may use a cool kennel dryer, muzzle, or require 2 groomers to safely complete the dog in any way we see fit using positive reinforcement methods. This may result in extra fees/longer appointment times.

 

Grooming dogs may be posted on our social media accounts for advertising or education purposes. We don't send out grooming photos - they will be posted in our instagram stories daily. We try our best to post a photo of all grooming dogs - but it is not a guarantee. Bandanas are not a guarantee - while supplies are available.

 

Our groomers are the only ones who can determine what size category your dog falls under. We do not give quotes without a groomer seeing the dog. Size is determined by: height/coat length/coat condition/weight/behaviour/desired haircut

 

Dogs may not be the same price every groom - if they come heavily matted and require extra time to safely remove the matts, they are subject to extra fees. Behaviour issues could result in extra fees, or re-bathing for any reason.

 

All poodle mixes fall under the "Doodle" category

 

Dogs who make any attempt to bite may be muzzled

 

Dogs will need to be in a kennel while waiting for their groom/haircut after the bath.
